Public Transport
SAAM is a short walk (500m) from Commercial Road, Port Adelaide, where you can access the Port Adelaide Railway Station and bus routes from Stop 38 Commercial Road.

The entrance gates are just south of the Railway Museum and Centrelink building. While the access road to the hangars is one lane, it is accessible to cars, cars & caravans, large RVs and buses. The museum has ample parking and turn-around space for vehicles of all sizes (except perhaps b-doubles or road trains).

Description

The Museum displays aircraft and aircraft engines of relevance to South Australia and aviation in Australia. It is also the home of the Defence Science and Technology Organisation's heritage rocket collection.

SAAM has an extensive collection of Communications Equipment. Some on display & some in storage.
