Description | Wikipedia.en: The Don River Railway is a volunteer run vintage railway and museum in Don. It runs a short train ride from Don to Coles Beach using part of the former Don River Line that ran between Don Junction and Paloona. The service operated by restored pacific steam locomotive M4 on Sundays and railcar DP22 at other times. The railway also runs a number of diesel locomotives numbered V-2, 866, X-4 and Y-6. Numerous other locomotives and rolling stock are in the process of being restored at the on-site workshop. donriverrailway.com.au: Normal train operationMonday to Saturday: Train used is our vintage railcar DP22*Sunday: Train used is our restored steam engine M4*+++ Steam Locomotive on Sundays availability, is subject to maintenance requirements and Fire Restrictions during the Summer months.
