Havanna (spanisch La Habana), vollständige Bezeichnung Villa de San Cristóbal de la Habana, ist die Hauptstadt der Republik Kuba. Die Stadt grenzt im Norden an den Atlantischen Ozean bzw. die Straße von Florida und erstreckt sich südlich und westlich der Bucht von Havanna („Bahía de La Habana“)

Das Museum befindet sich direkt in der historischen Altstadt von "Habana Vieja" (Alt-Havanna), wo es in einem "Solar" (Kolonial-Stadthaus) aus dem 18. Jahrhundert untergebracht ist. Es ist umgeben von einer schattigen Terrasse mit breiten Steinsäulen, Farn, Yuccas und Palmen.

Havana Club Rum Museum

Havana Club Rum Museum gives visitors the opportunity to experiment the process of making rum in detail, as well as a glimpse of the origins of Cuba's most popular distillate.

A visit to our Rum Museum is not only a trip to the origins of Cuba's most famous drink. From freshly cut sugar cane to the reconstruction of a distillery and aging warehouses, at the Museum you can discover the process of making rum, as well as to get closer to the authentic Cuban culture.
