Located on the Columbia River at the foot of Mount Revelstoke National Park, Revelstoke sits in a narrow fir-cloaked valley between the Selkirk and the Monashee mountains.

​The museum is a short walk from the downtown core, close to cafes and located near the foot of the Nels Nelsen Historic Ski Jump Hike

The Last Spike Gift Shoppe

A satellite branch of the museum is located at the site of the driving of the Last Spike at Craigellachie, signifying the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885.

Located on the Trans-Canada Highway 45km west of Revelstoke, the site includes a seasonal gift shop, picnic area and monument beside the main CPR line.
