Der Hammetschwand Aufzug ist nicht per Fahrzeug erreichbar. Ein sinnvoller Ausganspunkt ist der Honegg Parkplatz - dieser ist auch auf den Wanderwegen ausgeschildert. Koordinaten für das Navi: N46.993814 E8.399877 Wenn Sie sich von diesem Parkplatz aus links halten, geht es Richtung Bürgenstock, und dann auf den Felsenweg zur Talstation. Von dieser Richtung her ist der Felsenweg zur Talstation bedingt rollstuhlgeeignet (Begleitperson empfohlen!). Wenn Sie sich rechts halten, haben Sie später die Wahl, ob Sie den Felsenweg zur Talstation (rechts durch den Tunnel), oder den etwas mühsameren Weg zur Bergstation (links die Treppe hinauf) einschlagen (siehe letztes Bild). Es ist nur die Talstation personell besetzt. Wer nur von der Bergstation aus abwärts will, ruft dort den Lift, und bezahlt dann an der Talstation. |
| Description | Located at an altitude of 1,132 metres, the Hammetschwand Lift is the highest outdoor elevator in Europe. Already in 1905, the trip on board this lift was taking the breath away from its first passengers. Today, the lift makes the 152-metre vertical run in less than a minute, and the excitement of speeding so quickly skyward is exceeded only by the thrill of taking in the spectacular view. |
