| Description | Die fünf Ausstellungsbereiche Astronomie, Uhren, Geodäsie, Physik und Mathematik/Informationstechnik führen dem Besucher die ganze Bandbreite der entstehenden messenden Naturwissenschaften von der Spätrenaissance bis zum Vorabend der industriellen Revolution vor Augen. Sekundenpendeluhren, Vakuumpumpen, Mikroskope, Elektrisiermaschinen, frühe Rechenmaschinen und Quadranten wurden von den Landgrafen für Lehr- und Forschungszwecke angeschafft. Im Planetarium finden regelmäßige Vorführungen mit unterschiedlichen Programmen statt. |
