| Description | In dem einstigen Schulgebäude stehen heute Exponate der Bergbaugeschichte. Ehemalige Kumpel der Zeche Gneisenau haben bei der Enstehung des Museums 1987 mitgewirkt und mit viel Engagement verschiedene Objekte aus dem Bergbau sowie dem eigenen Alltagsleben zusammengetragen. Auf dem Außengelände befinden sich Waggons und Werkzeuge sowie ein Stollennachbau, der einen Eindruck von den Arbeitsbedingungen unter Tage gibt. Das Bergmannsmuseum ist nicht nur ein Ausstellungsraum, sondern auch eine Begegnungsstätte für alle Kulturen, Nationen und Altersgruppen. Träger des Museums ist das Multikulturelle Forum Lünen e. V. |
