Description

Wikipedia:
Rudelt power plant, hydro electric power plant Rabenauer Grund, Saxony; since 1911. Three generator sets. Two generator sets with a Francis turbine by Voith, Heidenheim (since 1911) and a synchronous generator by Poege, Chemnitz (1911–2012), replaced by an AEM Dessau generator. Capacity of each set 500 kVA. A third generator with a capacity of 150 kVA driven by a cross-flow turbine for small quantities of water is in use since 2012. The power plant is named after Ernst Robert Rudelt, mayor of Deuben, who installed many public services in the aftermath of the industrial revolution.
