| Description | Das Museum zeigt Sammlungen zur Torfwirtschaft mit Arbeitsgerät beim Handtorfstich sowie mit Fahrzeugen und Maschinen des industriellen Torfabbaus. Von besonderem Interesse ist die einzige vollständig erhalten gebliebene Torfballenpresse, die im Torfbahnhof (nebem dem Museumsgebäude), einem Industriedenkmal von 1920, installiert ist. Als zusätzliche Attraktion wird eine Fahrt mit einem Feldbahnzug auf vorhandener Schmalspur (880 mm) angeboten. |
