Description Das Museum stellt die Stadtentwicklung seit dem Spätmittelalter vor. Besonderer Blickfang ist das große Stadtmodell, das die wehrhafte Stadt vor dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg zeigt. Die Textilgeschichte reicht vom Handwerk bis zur industriellen Fertigung im 20. Jahrhundert. Die große Ratswaage und ein kompletter Satz der Eichmaße von 1858 ergänzen das Thema Handwerk und Handel.
