| Description | Das Stadtmuseum am Fuße des Schlossturmes ist auf geschichtsträchtigem Areal und im Herzen der Stadt gelegen. Seit 1956 sind die Sammlungen im historischen Gebäude des alten Herrenhauses untergebracht. Der Blick in eine Schusterstube aus der ersten Hälfte des letzten Jahrhunderts ist ebenso möglich wie der in eine bürgerliche Wohnstube aus der zweiten Hälfte des vorletzten Jahrhunderts. Aufgezeigt wird auch die industrielle Entwicklung der Stadt, besonders der Textilindustrie. |
