Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel Vom Hauptbahnhof Mainz: Buslinien 64, 65, 71, 92 bis zur Haltestelle Römisches Theater/ehem. Südbahnhof. Buslinien 60, 61 bis zur Haltestelle Stadtpark. Viele Züge halten auch an der Station »Römisches Theater«. Von dort sind es nur 2 Minuten Fußweg zum Museum. |
| Description | Im Mittelpunkt des Museums für Antike Schiffahrt stehen fünf römische Militärschiffe aus dem späten 3./4. Jahrhundert n. Chr., die 1981/82 bei Ausschachtungsarbeiten für den Erweiterungsbau des Mainzer Hilton Hotels gefunden wurden. |
