Der stillgelegte Bahnsteig an Gleis 4 und 5 des Oberhausener Hauptbahnhofs inszeniert diesen Ort als früheren Umschlagplatz der Schwerindustrie und präsentiert die Geschichte des Bahnhofs und die Bedeutung der Eisenbahn im Verhältnis zu Industrie und Stadt.

Historischer Zug

Blickfang des Bahnsteigs sind ein Schlackenpfannenwagen und ein Torpedopfannenwagen – zwei Waggons, die jahrelang im Dienst der Schwerindustrie unterwegs waren.
