Der Bahnhof Luckenwalde liegt an der Bahnstrecke Berlin–Halle.

Helma Lange und Bernd Schmidl betreiben ein Ostdeutsches Rundfunkmuseum in Luckenwalde.

Geschichtliche Bezüge zwischen Luckenwalde und der Radioherstellung gibt es zum Beispiel mit der Firma Krechlok und auch mit Kontaktbauelemente Luckenwalde (KBL), wo er bei der Produktion der Taschenradios LTR 10, LTR21 und LTR25 mitwirkte.

Es gibt immer wieder Sonderausstellungen, die aus dem Requisitenfundus des Privatmuseums versorgt werden.
