Berchum ist der Name eines Ortsteils der kreisfreien Großstadt Hagen im östlichen Ruhrgebiet, welcher im Jahre 1975 eingemeindet worden ist. Das Museum befindet sich in einem Nebenraum der Tenne, in einem Fachwerk-Haus auf einem 2000 Quadratmeter großen Grundstück des Berchumer Sonnenplateaus. Es ist das wahrscheinlich älteste Haus von Berchum. |
| Description | Die Hohenlimburger Traditions-Werkstatt von Klaus Lange wurde 2019 ausgeräumt. Die historischen Schuhmacher-Maschinen bleiben der Nachwelt erhalten. Die Werkstatt wird von privat in einem Raum eines Fachwerkhauses, dem ältesten Haus von Berchum, als Schusterei-Museum eingerichtet. Fast alle Maschinen sind noch funktionsfähig, Vorführungen sind geplant. |
