Description

Die Traditionen des Handwerkes und insbesondere die der Schuhmacherinnung genießen in der Stadt Leisnig seit hunderten von Jahren eine sehr große Bedeutung. In Würdigung dieser Tradition fertigten die zwei Schuhmachermeister Rolf Neidhardt und Gerhard Berthold im Jahr 1996 den weltgrößten Lederstiefel, den sog. "Leisniger Riesenstiefel". Mit dieser handwerklichen Meisterleistung setzten sie der Schuhmacherinnung in Leisnig ein Denkmal.
