Das Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte ist in allen Bereichen bequem über Rampen und per Aufzug z.B. mit Kinderwagen, Rollator oder mit dem Rollstuhl befahrbar (Ausnahme: Aussichtsplattform in 45 m Höhe). Begleitung von Menschen mit Handicap nach Voranmeldung. Leih-Rollstühle stehen in begrenzter Anzahl an der Kasse zur Verfügung.

The Völklingen Ironworks (German: Völklinger Hütte) is located in the German town of Völklingen, Saarland. In 1994, it was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage site. The former ironwork was founded in 1873 and decommissioned in 1986. In 1994 it was declared a World Heritage site by the UNESCO and is regarded the most important location of the industrial culture in Europe today (2010).
