Ethiopia officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, is a sovereign state located in the Horn of Africa. It shares a border with Eritrea to the north and northeast, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Sudan and South Sudan to the west, and Kenya to the south.
Addis Ababa or Addis Abeba is the capital and largest city of Ethiopia.
Railway
The Addis Ababa–Djibouti Railway is a standard gauge railway that links Addis Ababa with the port of Djibouti, providing landlocked Ethiopia with railroad access to the sea.
The museum is at the end of the sidings in the rrailway station yard.

The city is home to the Ethiopian National Library, the Ethiopian Ethnological Museum (and former Guenete Leul Palace), the Addis Ababa Museum, the Ethiopian Natural History Museum, the Ethiopian Railway Museum and National Postal Museum.

In the Ethiopian Railway Museum are 2 Imperial carriages from the 1930th + 1950th. In the carriages are the sleeping, working and meeting quarters of the Emperor in almost original condition.
