Toulouse is the prefecture of the French department of Haute-Garonne and of the larger region of Occitanie. The city is on the banks of the River Garonne, 150 kilometres (93 miles) from the Mediterranean Sea, 230 km (143 mi) from the Atlantic Ocean and 680 km (420 mi) from Paris. Description | Wikipedia: A large part of the aircraft on display will be loaned by the Ailes Anciennes Toulouse association, whose restoration site is located next to the museum, as well as Airbus Heritage and the Académie de l'Air et de l'Espace (ANAE). When the museum opened, it had 25 aircraft, 2 of which were outside and 2 on temporary loan, as well as more than 30 models put on display by the Aérothèque association, whose volunteers work nearby in the Atelier des Avions (shared with Ailes Anciennes and Cap Avenir Concorde). This museum has two Concorde aircraft, one inside (ANAE) and one outside (Airbus).
