Description

Wikipedia:
The Lumière Museum, created mainly from the collection of Doctor Paul Génard and the Lumière fund, allows visitors to discover the inventions of the two brothers, including the Cinématographe (registered trademark) which projected their first films on 28 December 1895 at the Grand Café in Paris, the Photorama, the Autochrome, the Blue Label photographic plate, 3D and 75mm projection, Photostereosynthesis, and the mechanical hand.

A permanent projection room on the first floor allows the viewing of restored Lumière films.

The hangar where the workers of La Sortie de l'usine Lumière17 in Lyon came from is open to the public.
