Description |
Discovery Museum is a science museum and local history museum situated in Blandford Square in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The centre piece of this large and wide ranging museum is ‘Turbinia’ the first vessel in the world powered by steam turbines. Three floors of displays explore Tyneside’s history of industry and innovation in science, shipbuilding, engineering and transport. |
