Description |
The museums at Twinwood airfield include: The Glenn Miller Museum, The aviation archaeology museum, the Home Front museum, Summer of '44 museum, The national Fire service Museum, The Motor Transport section, The Axis museum, and RAF Twinwood Airfield museums.
The Glenn Miller museum at Twinwood Control Tower is the last place Glenn Miller was ever seen. He disappeared on December 15th 1944 after his plane left Twinwood Airfield. The airfield has been preserved and turned into a fascinating museum dedicated to those who served during WWII. |
