The National Rail Museum is a museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi which focuses on the rail heritage of India it opened on the 1 February, 1977. It is located in over 10 acres (40,000 m2) of land with both indoor and outdoor exhibits. A toy train offers rides around its site on regular days. The museum houses the world's oldest operational steam locomotive the 1855 built Fairy Queen certified by the Guinness Book of Records.

인도 국립 철도박물관(힌디어: राष्ट्रीय रेल संग्रहालय, नई दिल्ली)은 인도 뉴델리에 위치한 철도 박물관이다.


मुक्त ज्ञानकोष विकिपीडिया से यहाँ जाएँ: भ्रमण, खोज राष्ट्रीय रेल परिवहन संग्रहालय नई दिल्ली के चाणक्यपुरी में स्थित एक संग्रहालय है, जो भारत की रेल धरोहर पर ध्यानाकर्षण करता है और 140 साल के इतिहास की झलक प्रस्तुत करता है। इसकी स्थापना १ फरवरी, १९७७ को की गई थी। यह लगभग 10 एकड़s (40,000 m²) के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है। इसमें भवन के अंदर और भाहर, दोनो हीप्रकार की रेल धरोहरें सुरक्षित हैं। विभिन्न प्रकार के रेल इंजनों को देखने के लिए देश भर से लाखों पर्यटक यहां आते हैं। यहां पर रेल इंजनों के अनेक मॉडल और कोच हैं जिसमें भारत की पहली रेल का मॉडल और इंजन भी शामिल हैं। इसका निर्माण ब्रिटिश वास्तुकार एम जी सेटो ने 1957 में किया था। यहां एक छोटी रेलगाड़ी भी चलती है, जो कि संग्रहालय में पूरा चक्कर लगवाती है। इस संग्रहालय में विश्व की प्राचीनतम चालू हालत की रेलगाड़ी भी है, जिसका इंजन सन १८५५ में निर्मित हुआ था। ये फ़ेयरी क्वीन गिनीज़ बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड्स सेप प्रमाणित है। इसके अलावा यहां रेस्टोरेंट और बुक स्टॉल है। तिब्बती हस्तशिल्प का प्रदर्शन भी यहां किया गया है।
