Friday, Saturday: 1pm - 5pm; Sunday: 1pm - 4pm. On these days, there are continuous tours during which the instruments are played.
On other days, group visits are possible by appointment. vrijdag, zaterdag: 13uur - 17uur; zondag: 13uur - 16 uur.
Op andere dagen zijn groepsbezoeken op afspraak mogelijk. |

The museum is in about fifteen minutes walking distance from the Central Station. On the way to the museum you will see a nice part of the old City. Of course you can also come here by public transport, but it will take you probably more than fifteen minutes! Public transport stops within walking distance: Marnixplein, tram 5 Frederik Hendrikplantsoen, bus 18 and tram 3 Westermarkt, tram 13 and 17 |

Het museum ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten loopafstand van het Centraal Station. U loopt via de Brouwersgracht door een mooi stukje oud Amsterdam! Met het openbaar vervoer komt het busje ‘Stop/Go’ het dichtst bij (rijdt over de Prinsengracht en stopt waar u wilt). Als u met de auto komt, is er meestal wel een parkeerplaats te vinden (alleen op vrijdag en zaterdagavond is dat wat minder makkelijk). Denk er wel aan, dat het parkeertarief erg hoog is.

| Description | The museum has a collection of automatic pianos and related objects. There are over 25.000 music rolls in the museum archive. Nearly all of them can be played on the different instruments in the museum. The visitor will be informed about the history and the technique of the instruments. The attention however will always be focused on the music. |

In het museum staan tal van piano’s die vanzelf kunnen spelen. Pianola's, reproduktiepiano's en alles wat daarmee te maken heeft. Het muziekarchief omvat bijna 30.000 muziekrollen die op de zeer uiteenlopende instrumenten afgespeeld kunnen worden. Tijdens een rondleiding krijgt de bezoeker natuurlijk ook informatie over de geschiedenis en de werking van de instrumenten. |
