Astronomy
Right in the exhibition you can interactively try out a series of telescopes while observing the tower and objects of the city.

Planetarium 
Programmes for the public Tuesday - Friday - must be confirmed in advance on +421 55 72 606 56 or +421 55 62 240 35.
The programme will be open to the public on selected days at weekends. Information about the programmes can be found on social media and by calling +421 55 245 175.

Mining
The mining machines are a real surprise: a spoon loader NL 12 from 1958, a Manda drilling wagon, a functional scraper gate, a single-arm drilling machine of the manufacturer Salzgitter Maschinen AG from 1957 and mining carts. Visitors will also experience the working noise of a 1957 rake conveyor in the underground.

Aurel Stodola's energy department
You will be enchanted by the many models of steam water and internal combustion engines, gas, steam and water turbines. Dynamic, working models of steam engines powered by compressed air are shown in motion. You will see a model of Watt's steam engine, a dynamic model of a steam locomotive, a Lenoir internal combustion engine, or a unique section of a moving Kaplan turbine.

Electrical Age - 200 years of electrical engineering
The Exhibition that presents 200 years of the development of electrical engineering. With 3,630 exhibits, the electrical engineering collection is one of the largest collections and is divided into two groups, namely general electrical engineering and communication technology.

History of metallurgy
In the historical part of the exhibition you will get acquainted with the history of metallurgy and its main development stages from prehistoric times to the 18th century.

The historical development of the history of metallurgy in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Smithcraft
In the museum's underbelly are exhibited forged objects of both utilitarian and artistic character.

Utility and artistic objects of metal
Presented are cast iron stoves, sewing machines, irons, scales and weights, chests, grinders, bells. The activities of an artistic locksmith, blacksmith and bell-maker are documented. You will also be fascinated by the unique forged clock machine from the tower of the St. Elizabeth Cathedral in Košice.

Baníctvo
Skutočným prekvapením sú najmä banské stroje: lyžicový nakladač NL 12 z roku 1958, vŕtací voz Manda, funkčný škrabákový vrátok, jednoramenný vŕtací stroj výrobcu Salzgitter Maschinen AG z roku 1957 i banské vozíky. Návštevníci v podzemí zažijú i pracovný hluk hrabľového dopravníka z roku 1957.

Energetické oddelenie Aurela Stodolu
Očarí vás množstvo modelov parných vodných i spaľovacích motorov, plynových, parných i vodných turbín. Dynamicky, v pohybe sa predvádzajú funkčné modely parných strojov poháňaných stlačeným vzduchom. Uvidíte model Wattovho parného stroja, dynamický model parnej lokomotívy, Lenoirov spaľovací motor, či unikátny rez pohyblivej Kaplanovej turbíny.

Elektrovek - 200 rokov elektrotechniky
V sídle Slovenského technického múzea v Košiciach prinášame verejnosti expozíciu reprezentujúcu 200-ročný vývoj elektrotechniky.
Zbierka elektrotechniky zastáva v štruktúre zbierkového fondu múzea mimoriadne významné miesto. S počtom 3 630 zbierkových predmetov patrí k tým najväčším a je rozdelená do dvoch skupín, a to všeobecná elektrotechnika a dorozumievacia technika, v ktorých sú bohato zastúpené slaboprúdová a silnoprúdová technika, výpočtová technika, meracia technika, ako aj domáce elektrospotrebiče.

História hutníctva
 V historickej časti expozície sa zoznámite s históriu hutníctva a jej hlavnými vývojovými etapami od praveku až po 18. storočie.

Metalurgia v 19. a 20. storoci
Historický vývoj dejín hutníctva v 19. a 20. storočí.

Umelecké kovácstvo
V podbrání múzea sú vystavené kované predmety úžitkového i umeleckého charakteru.

Úzitkové a ozdobné predmety z kovov
Prezentované sú liatinové kachle, šijacie stroje, žehličky, váhy a závažia, truhlice, mlynčeky, zvony... Zdokumentovaná je činnosť umeleckého zámočníka, kováča a zvonolejára. Zaujme vás aj unikátny kovaný hodinový stroj z veže Dómu svätej Alžbety v Košiciach.
