Brooks is an unincorporated community in Marion County, Oregon, United States. Brooks is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area.
It is located about nine miles north of Salem near Oregon Route 99E on French Prairie.

The Antique Caterpillar Machinery Museum (ACMM) was established in 1991 to tell the story of the evolution of Caterpillar machines and equipment. The museum collects, demonstrates and interprets Caterpillar machines as well as those produced by Holt and Best, the two companies that were the original foundation of Caterpillar.
