The California State Railroad Museum is located at the corner of Second and "I" Streets in Old Sacramento Sacramento's Amtrak train station is located immediately adjacent to Old Sacramento and the California State Railroad Museum. Actual walking distance between the Sacramento train station and Old Sacramento is the equivalent of about two city blocks. Please disembark the train and exit through the Depot. As you exit the Depot, turn right to walk west through the Amtrak parking lot, under Interstate 5. Just prior to reaching the tour bus parking area and turn left and walk south under the highway bridge archway welcoming you to Old Sacramento. Parking A small number of limited-term, metered parking spaces are available on the streets of Old Sacramento. However, these spaces are not suitable for guests visiting longer than 90 minutes. All-day parking is available in the large public garage at the I Street entrance to Old Sacramento, for a nominal fee. |
