The Museum of Broadcast Communications is On the Move
After over a decade at 360 North State Street in Chicago, the MBC will be
relocating as our space is being sold. The board of directors is seeking a new
location with an anticipated re-opening in 2025 in collaboration with a local
university. In the meantime, we will be focusing on virtual and pop-up
exhibits around Chicagoland.

“For 40 years, we’ve designed and supported exhibits, curriculum and
programs to serve as a bridge between producers, consumers, academics
and students,” said MBC Board Member, Andrea Darlas. “We want to
continue being that bridge for another 40 years.”
MBC looks forward to bringing you modern versions of our classic exhibits
and interactive new exhibits in an updated facility with educational and
theater spaces, guest amenities and a renewed academic focus.
