The OMSI/SE Water Ave Station connects with MAX, bus, and Portland Streetcar lines.

OMSI is located near bike paths and the bike-friendly Tilikum Crossing bridge.

OMSI parking is $5, with discounted parking passes available for members.

Description

ON VIEW AT OMSI

Five unique halls include a hands-on Science Playground for visitors six and under and Earth Hall featuring Science on a Sphere. Build your brainpower with over 200 interactive exhibits and labs for all ages in renewable energy, global climate, health and wellness, chemistry, engineering, technology, and more.

 

Earth Hall

Located on the second floor of the museum, the Earth Science Hall focuses on geology and tectonics, weather and climate, and their interrelationship with life, both past and present.

 

Life Hall

Life Science Hall invites visitors to explore the nature of human growth and development, the structure and function of the human body, and the impact of advancing technology on health care and choices.

 

Turbine Hall

Experiment with technology and the physical sciences in this hall named for the large turbine generator that serves as its focal point. Learn how technology affects our daily lives and changes our future. From giant robotic arms, to the Inventors' Ball Room, to a new suspension bridge crossing the Turbine Hall.

 

Science Labs

Active participation in scientific inquiry deepens understanding of a concept, relationship or process. Our labs offer something for all ages and interests!

 

Science Playground

Science Playground is OMSI's exhibit hall for kids 6 and younger and their families. Located on the second floor, Science Playground is a colorful and vibrant place for kids to play, explore and engage in science.
