Description

pacific-northwest-truck-museum:
The Truck Museum was founded in 1988 and we constructed our first building in 1989 although it was small it was the beginning.
Today we have 3 buildings and some 90 vehicles on display. It was organized to represent trucking history of the PNW and its truck manufacturers and our “pioneers.” We have many artifacts and pictures from the past.
Visit us the third weekend in August for our annual truck show. “Night Glow” Friday night has been a great addition the past several years. We anticipate over 350 trucks attending each year.

In the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum, you will see some of the great working vehicles that helped develop the Pacific Northwest. These wonderfully restored antique trucks, parts and memorabilia also show the significant and unique innovations in the development of trucks brought about by the longer distances and rough terrain of this part of the country.

We have over 75 trucks by GMC, Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Mack, and Peterbilt, plus long-gone Autocar, Moreland, Samson, White, Yellow-Knight, and many other makes. Seeing these trucks will recall trucking of bygone days, and present a world unknown to our children. Our growing collection was founded by a group of dedicated truck enthusiasts with the goal of preserving an important part of Pacific Northwest history.
