Description | The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum also takes care of the historic depot at La Mesa, CA. The LA Mesa Depot is the oldest building still in its original form in La Mesa and is also the only surviving railroad station from the San Diego and Cuyamaca Railway. The museum's renovation of the depot won an award from San Diego's historic preservation society, Save Our Heritage Organization.
