Hybric car radio, two unit + speaker. Permeability tuned.
2N278 changed to 2N301 (E.I.L. Bulletin QJ-4, 28/5/1959). Modfications to mounting & circuit required. Later units used CTP1138 & AT1138 which are a direct replacement for 2N301. No modifications required as per Bulletin QJ-4, except for bias readjustment. (EIL Bullletin QJ-5, 29/10/1959.
