• October 1921, Crosley Manufacturing Co. offered in "Radio News" on page 314 seven different radio cabinets and in an other ad on the same page this Crosley Variable Condenser - for $ 1.25 or with knob and dial for $ 1.75, mounted in cabinet for $ 2.50. In February 1922 two other versions were added and this one becomes Model A. Model A is conservatively rated at .0005 Mf. (wood frame and laminated wood plates), the new model of 1922, model "C" has ground porcelain plates with die cast frame, conservatively rated at 0.0012 Mf.
