- Notes
- Used together with Amplifier M50, this set will act as a VLF - MF receiver covering 15 - 600 kHz in five bands (15-31 / 31-64 / 64-135 / 135-280 / 280-600 kHz).
The A50 will only act as tuneable HF stages, by plugging in the aerial in different switched sockets, the A50 acts as one single (for searching), two(for normal reception, no interference) or four (for avoiding interference from transmitter on same ship) tuned circuits. The output is fed to Amplifier M50 for RF amplification, detection and AF amplification.
The A50/M50 combination (designation "receiver outfit CAA")is used as VLF-MF receiver in "Receiver Outfit CAB and CAC ".
