  • Annotazioni
  • The Silvertone 1430 Wyncliffe has two doors and is called "De Luxe Super Heterodyne Console. It has Automatic Volume Control (AVC) and a visual tuning meter and shares the same schematic/chassis as Silvertone 1510.
According to an ad for the Silvertone models 1404 Wilmington, 1402 Musette, 1430 Wynecliffe and 1154 Alden (a grandfather clock radio), all these models with different chassis and cabinets were marketed in 1931 for season 1931/32. Sometimes we find only the number without name, but most probably it is the same model. We keep one only until we have the proof that there are different models for the same number and time.
See details and summaries about Sears catalogs etc.

Careful: There is also a 9-tube Superhet model Silvertone 1430 with a schematic chassis 114 and the same schematic is also for a model Silvertone 7030. Also those have a visual tuning meter - and are existing in about the same time.
