Brian Wilson, Australia - Tube collection

Information - Help

Photo Brian Wilson

Below you find a part of the tube collection Brian Wilson.

Germanium Transistor radios preferably with Australian station call signs rather than frequency. I.E. limited range to keep the costs down and the "Domestic Financial Controller" at least somewhat happy. These radios are a technical "Dead End" in that there is no radio manufacture in Australia now and no-one is using Germanium Transistors in radio any more.

Excerpt from the tube collection of Brian Wilson. These images (tube photos) were uploaded to the respective tubes or valves by Brian Wilson.

These transistors are nestled together in my Premier Super Sensitive 8. They have the prefix 2 which I understand indicates that they were sold as a matched pair.
