Below you find a part of the tube collection Heinz Schmidt.

Schon als Achtjähriger habe ich vor dem Radio meiner Großeltern gestanden und war fasziniert von der Stimme, die aus dem eckigen Kasten kam, der auf dem Gerät stand. (Heute weiß ich daß es ein NORA K5W war). Einige Jahre später habe ich meinen ersten Zigarrenkisten-Detektor gebaut, der mit der seinerzeit langen Antenne quer über die Straße sogar funktionierte. Ich habe dann aber mein Jugendhobby leider (?) nicht zum Beruf gemacht. Merkwürdigerweise kann ich aber heute noch sagen, welche Radios vor -zig Jahren bei welchen Freunden und Bekannten standen. Ganz losgelassen haben sie mich also nie... In den Achtzigern habe ich auf einem Flohmarkt einen Philips Aachen 57D fast geschenkt bekommen, und da kam es wieder über mich. Seither habe ich wieder Radios gesammelt. Hier ist ein Teil meiner Sammlung. Einige dieser Geräte habe ich inzwischen nicht mehr, da ich nun altersbedingt die Sammlung verkleinere.
