Eine 6E8, sonst eine normale Octalröhre, hier mit dem deutschen Stahlröhrensockel Y8A als Ersatz für die ECH11 in Frankreich. 
Von der Gitterkappe (g1) musste außerhalb des Kolbens eine Verbindung zum Sockel verlegt werden.  

A 6E8, which is normally an Octal tube, here with a German Y8A Steel-tube base, as replacement for the ECH11 in France. 
It required a connection from the grid cap (g1) to the base outside the bulb.

Obwohl es sich hier um eine Glas-Röhre mit aufgesprühtem Abschirmbelag handelt, erhielt diese Röhre den Suffix 'MG', was „Metall-Glas“ bedeutet, also eine Glas-Röhre in einer Metallhülle, was hier eindeutig nicht der Fall ist.

Für die Vorstufentriode der ECL11 musste eine zusätzliche Triode 6F5 oder 6J5 eingebaut werden.

For the triode unit of the ECL11 an additional triode 6F5 or 6J5 was  required to built in.
