Below you find a part of the tube collection Jean de Bellefeuille.
Have been interested in radio since the 1950s. Started this collection with a Philips multiband 5-tube radio manufactured in Holland. Purchased this radio in Germany in 1959. Have acquired others over the years, the Zenith Transoceanic is a favorite. More recently restored an RCA 3-RF-91, which is one of the more rugged I've seen. It has a main power transformer that powers all 6-volt filament tubes (valves) instead of the usual direct power line connection. The RF stages are well shielded in metal enclosures.
