Below you find a part of the tube collection Martin Steyer.

Sammelgebiet: Seit 1976 sammle ich deutsche Röhrengeräte bis ca.1956. Begonnen hat die Sache mit 10 Jahren und dem ersten Detektor, dann kam der Radiomann-Baukasten. Bei uns im Dorf habe ich mit 16 die ersten Radios gegen Taschengeldaufbesserung und rote Würste der Bauern repariert. Später kamen auch Fernseher dazu, vor allem der Einbau von UHF-Konvertern zum Empfang des 2. Programms war eine gute Unterstützung für die Hobbykasse. Ich bin absoluter Autodidakt und habe dann die Amateurfunklizenz erworben (erst DC9BQ, dann DK7ZB). Die Kenntnisse zum Restaurieren der Technik sind recht ordentlich, nur mit dem Aufmöbeln der Gehäuse tue ich mich noch etwas schwer. Ausgesuchte Geräte werden komplett restauriert, bis Empfangsleistung optimal. Geräte mit größeren Defekten (z.B. Netztrafo), die nicht mit Originalteilen behoben werden können, kommen so ins Regal. Defekte Kondensatoren werden in der Regel einseitig abgeklemmt und durch neue Roll-Cs ersetzt.
