Mike Melzer, Australia - Tube collection

Below you find a part of the tube collection Mike Melzer.

My interest is in Australian radios and technology, valve radios from the 1920s and transistor radios to the mid 1980s. I began fiddling with valve radios in my early teen years and before that was encouraged by my dad who was a communications officer in the Royal Australian Navy. My enthusiasm for electronics and radio as a hobby lead to an interest in computers when they became available to the consumer market in the early 1980s. I have been involved with computers and computers in education since the early 1980s.
