Description |
Small neutron generator using the deuterium (2H) - tritium (3H) reaction. Neutrons are produced by creating deuterium ions from a Penning ion source and accelerating them to strike into a titanium-tritium target. The pressure of the deuterium and tritium mixture is monitored by a buit-in ionization gauge and adjusted by a replenisher. Also made or sold by other Philips owned marks.
