Description |
No manufacturers' information has been found for this tube. It is mentioned in some CV registers as equivalent to the CV1048 and also in some circuit details. Later, the CV1048 is recorded as a selected 215SG (CV1018).
It is probable that it was in limited production by Cossor for their radio kits of about 1928. However, it seems not to have been advertised or sold separately.
Further information located in Thrower's book "History of the British Radio Valve to 1940 - the tube was discontinued in 1929. The bases are B2 at one end and B3 at the other. (Similar to the MOV S625 in design).
