Description

This tube is the fore-runner of the UY224 and was made by a few manufacturers such as Arcturus (122AC), Ceco and Eveready Raytheon AC22, Sonatron, Songbird (made for Montgomery Ward) and Sylvania 222AC. These tubes were available for only a very few months - April to July, in 1929, when the type number was discontinued for these.
