Description

The American company Sears Roebuck, with its head office in Chicago, sold the standard range of American designed and made radio tubes from 1925. A few small manufacturers made these tubes and they were branded WKLS (World's Largest Store). The company allotted each tube a four digit type number. The company also sold regular branded tubes such as Radiotron, Cunningham, Solartron and Meteor. The 2953 is also listed in the following catalogs: Fall 1926 page 639, Spring 1927 page 639, Fall 1927 page 713and Spring 1928, page 619.
