Description |
The American company Sears Roebuck, with its head office in Chicago, sold the standard range of American designed and made radio tubes from 1925. A few small manufacturers made these tubes and they were branded "WLS" (Worlds Largest Store). The company alotted each tube a four digit type number. The company also sold regular branded tubes such as Radiotron, Cunningham, Meteor and Solartron.
Page 552 of the Fall issue of the catalog shows the 2956 is a Cunningham C301A. This tube has a brass base.
