Description

The American company Sears Roebuck, with its head office in Chicago sold the standard range of Ameerican designed and made radio tubes friom 1925. A few small manufacturers made these tubes and they were branded "WLS" (Worlds Largest Store). The company allotted each tube a four digit type number. The company also sold regular branded tubes such as Radiotron, Cunningham, Solartron and Meteor.

Page 552 of the 1925 catalog lists this tube and it is also on page 493 of the Spring 1926 catalog.
