Description

Manufactured by the General Electric Company in England. The large version of this tube was made from c. 1935 to 1945. following this a smaller version of the tube was made with a diameter of 55 mm. (see Variant) The smaller tube was also sold with the Philips brand but made by GEC. These tubes were used extensively in ac/dc radios, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.
Voltage range 112-195 for 5% current stability.

Variants

From 1945 a smaller version of this tube was made with a diameter of 55 mm. The filament of this tube consisted of eight single coiled iron wires mounted vertically and connected in series. The tube was still listed in the Philips "Miniwatt Technical data handbook, 7th edition 1962

Hier passt etwas nicht: Während diese Röhre 302 als Widerstandsröhre bezeichnet wird, sollen die verlinkten Äquivalenztypen Sendetrioden sein.
