Description |
Triode-penthode or triode-beam power tube described on page 241 of the 1941 book "la lampe de radio" with a provisional name of 35Y25 or Y25.
This book indicates that it is under study and we do not currently have any information on a series production.
It would be based on a 25L6 and the triode part of a 6Q7.
This tube should probably allow the construction during WW2 wartime of all-current 4-tubes receivers, perhaps with a combination of the type 6E8 6H8 35Y25 25Z6.
The International Radio Tube Encyclopaedia Babani Edition 1949 also describes this tube on page 22 of Section 1 Radio Receiving Tubes.
