Description |
Transmitter double tetrode, similar to 829, modified for pulse applications up to 8A at 5KV max. Mica spacers removed or replaced by ceramic spacers, so to withstand 5KV plate pulses without sparking. The design was then unified with the introduction of the 829B, that only differs for test procedures. 3E29 was tested for 5KV operation.
Filaments can be parallel connected for operation at 6.3V, 2.25A.
Also made by Haltron and Siemens.
